Subscan is currently delivering specialised environmental support to a valued client. Assisting them in securing and managing their environmental discharge permits for a critical and high-stakes site. This project is pivotal in maintaining regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability. As part of our comprehensive approach, we are installing state-of-the-art flow monitoring equipment to precisely track and analyse both the volume and characteristics of water and other discharges leaving the site and entering the surrounding ecosystem. This monitoring is crucial, as it ensures adherence to stringent environmental regulations, and helps safeguard the environment from potential pollutants or harmful discharges.
Prior to the installation of the flow monitoring systems, Subscan conducted an exhaustive CCTV survey of the site’s drainage infrastructure. This detailed survey provided us with a complete map of the drainage network, allowing our team to pinpoint any potential issues, such as blockages or structural weaknesses, that could impede proper drainage. More importantly, this step enabled us to strategically identify the most effective locations for placing the monitoring equipment. By understanding the precise flow paths and discharge points, we can ensure that our equipment captures the most relevant and valuable data, which is then used for accurate monitoring and compliance reporting. This data-driven approach not only helps our client stay within regulatory guidelines but also supports their overall environmental responsibility and sustainability targets.
