How does re-lining work?
The relining process installs a durable drain lining that bonds securely to the inside of the pipe, effectively creating a pipe within a pipe. This re-lining method eliminates the need for excavation during major drain repairs, significantly cutting down repair time and expediting essential drain work. The re-lining can be applied vertically or horizontally, depending on the damaged pipe’s location.
Relining adapts to a wide range of pipes, from 100mm to large 1,500mm diameter culverts.
- Extends drainage life expectancy up to 100 years
- Minimal disruption to customers or public highways
- No excavation required as the method used is through existing access manholes and gullies
- No over pumping required
- Cost effective and durable
