How does re-lining work?
The relining process involves the installation of a drain lining that bonds to the inside of the pipe, essentially creating a pipe within a pipe. The re-lining means that no excavation work is required for major drain repairs, significantly reducing the time it takes to repair and essential drain works. The re-lining can be laid vertically or horizontally, depending on the location of the damage pipe.
Relining can be applied to a vast array of pipes, ranging 100mm all the way up to 1,500mm diameter culverts.
- Extends drainage life expectancy up to 100 years
- Minimal disruption to customers or public highways
- No excavation required as the method used is through existing access manholes and gullies
- No over pumping required
- Cost effective and durable
