How does it work?
The relining process involves the installation of a drain lining that bonds to the inside of the pipe. This process essentially creating a pipe within a pipe. This can be laid vertically or horizontally, depending on your organisation’s needs, and can be applied to pipes with diameters as small as 100mm, all the way up to 1,500mm diameter culverts.

At Subscan we are one of the UK’s leading commercial and private drain lining specialists. The lining process involves the installation of a drain lining that bonds to the inside of the pipe, essentially creating a pipe within a pipe, covering all cracks and leaks.
Since no two jobs are the same at Subscan UDS, we constantly invest in new technology to make sure we can comfortably take care of anything we are tasked with, while remaining a step ahead of the competition. Case Study
Client:
Outwood Academy
Project type:
CCTV Drainage survey and unblocking
Location:
Easingwold, York
Overview
As part of the project we completed a comprehensive CCTV drainage survey to identify and clear any debris and blockages. All work was completed on time and within the programme of works.
Outwood Academy contacted Subscan to determine if we could resolve an issue they were having with flooding on the Academy roof and ground areas.
To identify the cause of the flooding we surveyed all the down pipes using our CCTV drainage survey to identify if they were clean and free from structural damage. During this process we also identified blockages within the tennis courts that required emptying but had access issues.
To clear the blockages our team of engineers used a Cityflex Vacuumation Unit to clear the blockages and access stacks by means of Core drill & Install Fernco Inspection Point to empty the gullies and associated drainage within the tennis court areas.
All works were completed on time within the programme of works.
