Macmillan Coffee Morning : A Resounding Success
On Friday, 27th September, the Subscan team enthusiastically gathered for a fantastic Macmillan Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This incredible charity tirelessly works to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone, and we are incredibly proud to contribute to their vital mission. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and community spirit of our team, we successfully raised a significant amount of money, truly making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Moreover, the event was an absolute hit! The office was filled with laughter, conversation, and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked homemade goodies. In particular, a special shout-out goes to Lynne Miller, who went above and beyond by providing us with her delicious homemade treats that everyone couldn’t get enough of! From a variety of cakes to delectable chocolate slices, Lynne’s contributions undoubtedly added to the sweetness of the day.
Raffles and Competitions
To make the morning even more engaging and fun, we hosted raffles and competitions with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. Everyone got into the spirit of the day, which made the event not only meaningful but also incredibly entertaining. From friendly competitions to enthusiastic raffle ticket sales, the excitement in the room was contagious.
Of course, this amazing event wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of Vicki Thomas. Her outstanding organisational skills, dedication, and infectious enthusiasm made sure the Coffee Morning was an unforgettable experience for all. We owe her a huge thank you for making it such a seamless and enjoyable occasion for everyone. Victoria’s incredible ‘sales technique’ certainly helped bring in a lot of donations, and we are so grateful for her commitment to the cause.
We are thrilled to announce that, so far, we’ve raised an impressive £555.64 for Macmillan Cancer Support (and counting!). Every penny raised will go towards helping Macmillan provide their vital services, offering much-needed care, support, and hope to individuals and families affected by cancer. This fantastic amount is a true testament to the generosity and kindness of our team here at Subscan.
