We’ve Come A Long Way, Baby!
Leading Specialists in Underground Utility Mapping, Drainage and Land Surveying
Subscan UDS began it’s journey to industry leaders in 2012, as a small family run drain cleaning and repair company. Employing just 10 staff, based at our old offices on Intercity Way in Bramley, Leeds.
After seven years of relentless dedication and hard work, Subscan has outgrown its Bramley offices and moved into our new head office at Subscan House, on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre.
Now operating from a prime position, we were able to offer total national coverage to all our clients. Allowing us to increase our already impressive response times to various areas of the country. Investing our time in bigger projects on a more regularly basis across the UK.
During this time there had also been significant growth across our utility, drainage and survey divisions and we added the RISQS accreditation to our already impressive portfolio, allowing Subscan to provide extensive trackside drainage and surveying services for our valued clients across the UK rail network.
Today, with over 150 staff, Subscan UDS is one of the leading integrated survey and drainage specialist contractors throughout the country, providing the highest quality utility, drainage, and survey service and solutions to clients across a variety of industries. We are immensely proud of our outstanding customer service and of our in-house management, staff and on-site team leaders and engineers, because without their tireless effort and continuous work ethic over the past 10 years, none of our recent expansion and business growth would have been possible.
Investing in the Future
As we continue our journey to industry leaders Subscan UDS have seen multi million pound business investment and expansion. Purchasing new vehicles and tankers, the very latest drainage and remediation equipment. We’ve also invested in the latest land and utility mapping technology. Ensuring we continue to be a driving force in the utilities, drainage and surveying sectors.
We have also expanded our business operations into the Midlands area of the UK, with the purchase of our depot based at Unit 2, Nelsons Court, Pontefract Street, Derby DE24 8JD.
As a result, this has allowed Subscan to be much closer to our customers within the Midlands and surrounding areas, which will aid us in serving them better with our comprehensive, integrated utility, drainage, and surveying services.
Our business investment and expansion has also seen the fast-paced recruitment of new in-house and on-site management, staff, and engineers to ensure we continue to build on the recent successes we have already achieved. As a result, the past 12 months has seen an incredible growth within the company, and it is our aim to continue to go from strength to strength over the coming years.
The Winning Formula
A main reason for Subscan’s success is that our departments work in conjunction with each other to provide our clients with a complete multi-maintenance solution. From initial inspection to completed work, we offer the complete turnkey service.
Our utilities, surveying, drainage and CCTV departments all work hand in hand. Performing the initial detection, cleansing and surveillance of the existing drainage infrastructure. If the drainage requires repair work, our specialist civils and lining teams who, using the latest lining techniques, can restore the infrastructure of the drain back to its original condition. If traditional drain lining techniques are not sufficient to repair the pipework, we can also perform a complete excavation and replacement of the system.
The benefits of utilising the services of a single company to work across your infrastructure will often ensure that your project is carried out far more efficiently and cost effective. The planning and carrying out of any work on your project will therefore not require multiple companies to work together.
Subscan will take control of the entire project from the outset. That way, we can assess your requirements, so you can clearly understand the cost and timescales associated with the process. This will give you a clearer picture of the work required and completion dates.
Fewer contacts, means improved communication, ensuring a more cost effective and time efficient schedule. This eliminates the need for our clients to be in contact with multiple contractors to get your work completed. Elevating complications due to schedule collaboration and planning when working on a single job.
