Supporting and Improving Local Communities
Our Remedial Works Delivery Manager, Garry Sides, recently met with Hambleton Parish Councillor Ray Rossiter to discuss Subscan’s contribution to the Hambleton Recreation Area redevelopment. This redevelopment will be carried out at no cost, reflecting our strong commitment to enhancing local communities.
Recently, the recreation area experienced a troubling rise in anti-social behaviour, such as vandalism and unauthorised vehicle access. These issues have significantly impacted the safety and enjoyment of the space for local residents. Consequently, Garry’s meeting with Councillor Rossiter focused on how our Civils team could effectively address these challenges.
During the meeting, Garry and Ray reviewed various solutions to secure the recreation area and restore its safety and appeal. The agreed-upon measures included installing robust barriers to prevent unauthorised access and enhancing security features. Our civils team of Chris Robinson and Rikki Asquith completed these improvements earlier this week. The aim is to create a secure and welcoming environment for the entire community to enjoy.
