Garry Sides

Civils and Lining Manager

Garry joined the Subscan team, back in April 2021, as our new Civils and Lining Manager.  We have already seen Garry’s work ethic, commitment and expertise in this sector.  He will be a major asset as we continue our mission to be a leading force in the industry.

He has extensive knowledge, having previously worked for the likes of DrainsAid, Amey and Marlie Civils Limited.  Garry also has previous experience of working for Subscan as he was as a Civils Engineer earlier in his career.  Garry joins the company with over 15 years’ worth of experience, working as an Engineer and Supervisor.  Eventually moving into management and more senior positions.  With Garry’s previous experience of working for Subscan, we already know that he has a firm understanding and vision of what will be required.

In Garry’s spare time he enjoys coaching his daughter Emily’s under 10’s rugby league team.  Who are also a long term sponsor of Subscan’s at Farnley Falcons. Garry is also a trustee of TOOTS (Talk Outside Of The Scrum).  TOOTS raises awareness around mental health issues for current and past rugby players from both Rugby League and Rugby Union codes.  When he has time he is an avid Leeds United fan, and a season ticket holder, travelling home and away as much as time allows.
