We are looking for a Trainee Land Surveyor/Topographical Surveyor assisting our lead Land Surveyors with day to day duties while building up experience. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and ideally have a background or qualification within the construction environment. They will be trained in-house primarily in land surveying but will also gain knowledge of utility and drainage surveys. As the candidate progresses they may be put forward for an industry-recognised qualification.
You may be required to travel throughout the UK on a weekly basis. Most of your time will be spent on-site using technical instruments to record the environment. Once complete on site, you will process the data you have collected using LSS and draw up results using CAD software. All in house training will be given in regards to processing and software.
- Experience in using survey equipment (preferred)
- Experience in using CAD (preferred)
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Able to travel across the UK with some overnight stays
- Clean full UK driving licence
